Our monthly bookkeeping services include:
Reconciling all bank accounts
Processing weekly accounts payable and updating the check register with deposit and electronic payment information
Allocating payroll at functional and grant level
Reviewing check register and cash receipts for any deferrals necessary to comply with GAAP
Reviewing revenue received and grant agreements to apply restrictions where necessary
Creating all standard and non-standard journal entries
Recording monthly accounts payable and any other necessary accruals
Allocating indirect costs at functional level
Maintaining schedules of all balance sheet accounts including Accounts Receivable, Prepaid, Accounts Payable, other liability accounts, Vacation Payable, and Fixed Assets schedules
Creating monthly internal financial statements and management reports including Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activities, Funds report (we track and report on restricted funds and contracts), Budget to Actual report, and other reports based on organizational needs
Annually, we can also:
Assist CPA with 990 preparation and annual audit or review
Annual preparation of forms 1096 and 1099
